Bill and Hillary has made $109 million since Bill left office according to their tax records. Bill says half of that was made making speeches around the world. (But who was he speaking to and about what?  The public will never know.)  Can anyone tell me the name of a prior president of the US who has made more money than Bill Clinton by commercializing on his presidential legacy? Shameful. All prior presidents became elder statesmen after leaving office. Bill Clinton has become a huckster.

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have sent a letter to President Bush asking him to insure that the war in Iraq is not left to the next president to resolve.  They would have him pull all of our troops out now, while knowing full well that such would create chaos in that part of the world and could lead to nuclear war in the middle east.  They seem to want chaos in the middle east but want to blame President Bush for causing it to happen. Obama and Hillary have both said that they would start pulling out troops right after taking office if elected irregardless of the consequences and that scares Reid and Pelosi. They dont want Democrats to take the fall.  Barack Obama and the recent dustup with "The Reverend Wright"  sheds new light on the character of Obama.  He simply cannot be trusted. He says one day that he never heard those despicable remarks that the not so good "reverend" made and the next day in a nationally televised speech said just the opposite. 

Sen. Obama says that if he is elected president, he will pull our troops out of Iraq starting immediately and then send them back if Al Qaeda shows up there.  Perhaps this makes sense to a man who has never served in the military but yet wants to be Commander-in-Chief. God help us all.

Oil is now costing in excess of $120 a barrel and the price continues to go up.  So how much are we pulling out of the ground in ANWR daily?  None, because Democrats wont let us drill there.  In fact, we have reserves in Colorado, North Dakota, the Gulf of Mexico and off both the east coast and the west coast but arent allowed to drill.  Remember that as the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel continue to escalate.

John McCain is now our presidential candidate and we all need to get behind him.  I would point out that none of us can walk on water.
